Volunteers Help Save Lives!

With over 1,000+ homeless animals in our community, volunteers are a vital resource. MS Critterz encourages the participation of volunteers who support our mission to provide temporary shelter to stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals for the purpose of finding permanent suitable homes, by fostering, promoting adoptions, and transports to help eliminate unnecessary euthanasia, and the humane treatment of animals within the community.

Requirements

At least 16 years old; If under 16, volunteer must be accompanied by supervisor/guardian at all times. Minimum age is 8 years old.
**All volunteers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian meet and sign a Volunteer Application release form with a MS Critterz representative before volunteering for any of our opportunities. Click here to complete/print this form.
Have an interest in helping animals become successful pets
Have a mature and respectful attitude toward volunteers, the public, and animal residents at all times
Have a working email or other means of communication
Support MS Critterz philosophies, policies and mission

If you are under the age of 18, print our Volunteer Application release form above to bring with your parent/guardian to sign up with a MS Critterz representative. *We cannot accommodate volunteers with criminal records that include felony drug offenses, any charges involved with theft, abuse, or cruelty to animals or provide community service hours, at this time.

Volunteer Opportunities

Foster Home - foster homes are vital to saving lives and providing a warm and loving environment to the animals we serve. We are always in need of temporary foster homes while our furry friends await adoption or transport. If you would like to become a foster, please complete our foster application. Click here!

Transport Driver - transports saves lives! The people who graciously give their time to drive to our transport destination or transfer location are their heroes! You must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. A vehicle and cost of fuel will be provided. If you are interested in being a transport driver, complete our Transport Driver application.

Adoption Events - we will be hosting adoption events within our community to show some of our available pets. If you are interested in helping with our adoption events, please complete our Volunteer Application. Click here!

Fundraising Events - we will not only be striving to raise funds to care for the furry friends in our care to provide necessary vaccinations, medical care, food, and other necessities, but will also be raising funds to transport homeless animals to other less populated areas around the US! If you are interested in helping with our fundraisers or would like to do a fundraiser for our cause, please submit your Volunteer Application. Click here!

Donation Drives - because supplies are essential for our pets, we will periodically hold donation drives in front of local business' to help get needed supplies necessary for the care of our Critterz! Volunteers are needed to assist to pass out our Wishlist and answer any questions in regards to our mission to the general public.
